Stamp Review Crew: Butterfly Basics

Welcome to the latest edition of the Stamp Review Crew's Blog Hop!  This time we are showcasing the lovely Butterfly Basics stamp set.  We have a wonderful variety of projects to share!  We always have our blogs permanently linked so you can hop at any time.  You can also see the complete blog roll on our Stamp Review Crew website and while you are there check out some of our past hops.  There is a gold mine of creative ideas!

My project today is very simple.   In fact it is so simple I am almost embarrassed.  But there is a good reason!  Actually several good reasons!

You may have heard that Stampin' Up is retiring all My Digital Studio products including software and all digital downloads.  I am a HUGE MDS fan and I am so grateful for having been introduced to digital scrapbooking via My Digital Studio.   I use it for many things the most important of which is our family scrapbooks.  Each year I design one all-encompassing book of our family's activities and then print four copies.  One for my husband and I and one for each of our three children.

To me these scrapbooks are the crown jewels of my personal crafting.  I love reliving each memory as I work on these and delight in creating a lasting treasure for my children.

Now for the reason for my SIMPLE project!  My life was very hectic to say the least last year and I got very behind.  I am racing to complete our 2014 scrapbook.  Through the end of May all printing is 30% off and I am on a mission to finish this book!

The second reason is I wanted a simple layout so the pictures would be the main focus.   Butterfly Basics to the rescue!  These stamps added just the right touch of femininity yet look trendy in black and white.

This was incredibly fast!  Wish me luck in getting the rest of the book done as quickly!
